The role of the Monarchy
The Monarch of Links Land serves as Head of State and a symbol of national unity and continuity. Under the Constitution, the Crown fulfils a vital ceremonial and constitutional role, acting always on the advice of the elected government and in accordance with the will of the people of Links Land.
The monarchy is hereditary. The throne passes according to the rules of primogeniture, with any changes to the line of succession requiring parliamentary approval.
